Left vs Right

As an artist I am obsessed with beautiful design. As a front end developer, I am driven to write elegant, semantic code that behaves in all modern browsers. The entrepreneur in me is always focused on uniting both to make sure that the end user remains a key part of the mix and that I complete the task with efficiency in mind.

Background

With over 12 years of commercial web design experience I have helped launch and market many successful products in the educational, entertainment, medical and business industries. Throughout my career, the web has changed at an exponential pace and with it, so has my drive to stay on top of the technology supporting it. It has always been important to me to offer creativity built on a solid foundation, so I don’t design media that I don’t know how to produce. I enjoy integrating my designs as much as I enjoy conceptualizing the message.

Most recently, I have co founded the software start up NimbusBlue, where I spend a great deal of time brainstorming, sketching and wireframing social media and other useful web apps. I’m also a contributing member of Girls in Tech.

Down Time

In my spare time I dream of being a NYC window designer, attempt to maintain my artistic skills unaided by a computer, paint and repaint my home, rebuild the garden torn up by my retired racing greyhounds and drink a lot of green tea.
